About The Event
These fun and informative ONLINE masterclasses are designed for:
- PERIMENOPAUSAL WOMEN struggling with menopause related symptoms such as poor sleep, fatigue, weight gain, mood swings, brain fog, joint pains, hot flushes and night sweats etc.
- POSTMENOPAUSAL WOMEN who want to learn how to prevent and manage common postmenopause conditions such as heart diseases, weak bones, muscle loss and vaginal health
- ALL WOMEN wanting to help their friends, sisters and daughters, now and in the future
The masterclasses will be led by The Nutri Yogi, Audrey Backhouse, with guest speaker, Dr. Katie Armstrong, founder of Clinic 51, a private GP-led women’s health and menopause clinic. Each class will include a 1-hour talk and a 50-minute Menopause Yoga practice and a special muscle and bone strengthening practice.

WEEKLY TOPICS
WEEK 1: Gain a deeper understanding of what really happens to your hormones during the menopause, beyond them plummeting south. Learn how best to manage hot flushes, night sweats and low libido and the latest medical evidence on HRT, including how to approach discussing it with your doctor.
WEEK 2: Find out the best tools to help you tackle poor sleep, insomnia, lethargy, fatigue and
hormone related weight gain. Learn if intermittent fasting is a good idea for you and what are the best types of exercise for perimenopausal and postmenopausal women.
WEEK 3: Learn what you can do to manage stress, anxiety, brain fog and menopause mood swings and the shocking truth behind why antidepressants are overprescribed for menopausal women?
WEEK 4: Discover what all postmenopausal women need to know about why heart health is the No.1 killer for women, why bone health is called 'the silent killer' and why vaginal health is a taboo subject that needs to be talked about! Learn how to help yourself manage and prevent these conditions.
